When it comes to the current crop of ultra-light frame designs, the Parlee Z5 SL and SLi have defined the perfect balance between ultra-light weight and ultimate performance. A combination of beautifully balanced ride quality and sensibly attained weight savings without the posterior-numbing stiffness found in so many modern race bikes set our flagship stock geometry model apart.

Based on client and dealer input, for 2013 we have merged the Z5 SL and the Z5 SLi into a single model. You no longer need to choose a single drive system when selecting a new bike. Start with mechanical, upgrade to electronic in the future or if you are using electronic already, you will love the cleanliness of our design.

Open standards, such as our all-carbon Press-Fit 30 bottom brackets yield lighter weight, responsive performance and assure compatibility with the widest range of components today and in the future.

The new Z5 SLi is compatible with Shimano Di2, Campagnolo EPS as well as all mechanical SRAM, Campagnolo and Shimano road drive trains.

Traditional cable stops have been removed, cable guides co-molded, a carbon fiber battery mount has been installed out of the rider’s way and passages for internal seat post batteries added.

The end result is an intelligent, modern performance machine without the addition of needless clutter or over-styled excess. 12 Flex-Fit sizes ensure that the Z5 SLi fits as well as it rides.
